    • Required XP Question

      A Comparison

I just gained level 21 with my Conjurer, and now I have 270k XP needed until I can level again. At the rate I've been getting XP, that's a LOT!! A lot of the last level was spent using wizard of war and killing minotaurs in one, rarely two hits. And also sometimes getting killed by sea giants in one or two hits.

I was wondering if the ranger and/or swordsman need less XP to level this high.

My Question is: What is the difference with XP needed to level between the three classes?

      Thanks.

EDIT: Also, when I was using wizard of war I found that form very slow. Is there a way to change the equipment I am given so that I can equip my quicksilver ring?

      Thanks.

    • That's a question I can answer, but I doubt that many others know. It took me exhaustive research to get this data. 😄

The original player (without Trinity) and the Swordsman and Ranger all have the same scale but the Conjurer marches to a different drummer. Everyone is equal for the first three levels and, after that, the Conjurer has more work to do for each level.

In the list that follows, the first number is the total experience required to reach that level if you are playing anyone except a Conjurer, and the second number is the requirement for our poor, overworked Conjurer.

      Level 1.....50
      Level 2.....120
      Level 3.....220
      Level 4.....360....Conjurer....370
      Level 5.....560.....................590
      Level 6.....840.....................920
      Level 7.....1230...................1410
      Level 8.....1780...................2140
      Level 9.....2550...................3220
      Level 10...3630...................4820
      Level 11...5140...................7190
      Level 12...7250...................10700
      Level 13...10200.................15890
      Level 14...14330.................23570
      Level 15...20110.................34940
      Level 16...28200.................51770
      Level 17...39530.................76680
      Level 18...55390.................113,550
      Level 19...77590.................168,120
      Level 20...108,670..............248,880
      Level 21...183,260..............442,700
      Level 22...287,680..............714,040
      Level 23...538,290..............1,365,260
      Level 24...1,139,750...........2,928,190
      Level 25...2,583,260...........6,679,220
      Level 26...6,047,680...........15,681,690
      Level 27...14,362,290.........37,287,620
      Level 28...34,317,352.........89,141,856
      Level 29...82,209,504.........213,592,016
      Level 30...197,150,656.......512,272,384
      Level 31...473,009,440.......1,229,105,280
      Level 32...1,135,070,464....(not available)

Level 32 is as high as you can go unless you are a Conjurer. Conjurers can never get past level 31 no matter how long you play. There are still numbers in the box to reach the next level but the numbers start doing crazy things. Even if you cheat and add 12 billion experience points you remain at level 31 forever.

Notice that at level 21 where you are, you have done almost two and a half times the work that a Swordsman would do to get to that level.

p.s.: Yes, I have characters in each class who have reached the top level and beyond without using external cheats. 😛 Playing each plugin (and several more in development) through several times with those characters certainly helped get me there.

p.p.s.: You cannot change the player's armor or weapons in the Wizard of War spell. The Wizard of War is just an illusion after all and doesn't really exist except in the mind of the Conjurer. 😉
