"The plank?" Arianne blinks and looks around. She sees no plank, except...
"You want me to walk on the table?" She smiles, unable to take anything looking like a big bird with an eyepatch and strangely-shaped hat seriously.

"I intended no insult. Let me get you a drink to make amends." Arianne orders a drink for pp, surreptitiously paying with coins out of his pouch, since she has no wealth of her own.

pp sips the drink thouhtfully for a while when, all of a sudden, he has this nasty look on his face.

Without a word pp grabs premonition by the scruff of her neck and tosses her into a broom closet, muttering something about 'going for a spot of cofee, I'll be back shortly.'

(edit) Him, her, his, her... no differenacence... diffarancercenade... dyfferandriff... whatever.

Arianne rubs the back of her neck and growls softly; the dim light filtering in from the cracks of the door glints off her eyes. The bird had thrown her into the cupboard! But it was bad form to bite someone you were trying to be friendly to. She kicks the door open, yelps in pain as her foot connects with the solid wood, and limps back to her seat, resolving not to be so nice the next time. Besides, she is getting hungry.

Arianne's nose wrinkles in distress as the Vogons begin organising a poetry contest. She whispers something to Rawzer, then turns and offers free to all Vogons a very... spirited cocktail of scumble and pangalactic gargle blaster.
