Blender is refusing to export animations of any kind. I tried all formats, and have been messinf around with it for about an hour, with no luck. I also tried reloading the factory settings. that didn't work either.

plus, non of my macromedia programs are working (Freehand MX, Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, and Firework MX.)

one final question: how do you export an rleD and rle8 as a PNG? so you can view each individual frame in a graph, and mess around with them?

DeRLE is the usually way to extract RLE resources, though it outputs to PICT resources, rather than as PNGs.
