I don't know if I'm the only one but I'm finding it extreeeemely hard to beat him. Is it a question of potions? If so, until what point should I take those permanent boosters before it becomes too much for the fun of the game? Even Moki isn't lasting enough for that devil!

This is not your ordinary foe. It's not meant to be easy. Dexterity is the key. A conjurer with Moki has certainly enough stamina.
Estimated minimum requirements (any class):
Level 24
Dexterity = 100+
Stamina = 400+
Philters of Healing = 15+
Skill and Perseverance = highly recommended
It did say, "This is the fight of your life and for your life."

OK, make sure cast moki before you fight the devil. Your magic points go down after that. And because your strength goes down too, keep a few elixirs/potions in your pocket. And make sure you use diablous/SoL. Nearly impossible otherwise.

EDIT: OK, I admit it. I've never beaten the guy without a cheat. Even with the 1000+ damage glass swords from my plugin. Always had to use the Ultima sword and belt. He too tough. So sue me. :frown:

I used speed keys, with a lot of potions of healing. Keep hitting the "A" key, which lets you take a potion. You can take more than one potion at once, and with speed keys, taking potions does not slow down play. (This strategy works with any massively powerful foe.)

I also found it useful to take off my gear before engaging ratznest. So if the fight begins (slowmotion), you simply put it on (boots of lightning for example) and you get back your former speed, some strenght (SoL, Diabolus) etc.
