The Cambrians are organic correct? Maybe you have a phisicaly retarded one that needs your energy to sustain its life force and keep it from imploding. Just a theory though. Give me a sec and I will check the resources and see if I am correct(or what ever is causign it to suck).

The Vell-os weapons drain energy constantly, as well as when they're being used.

There's a vellos-powerdrain bugfix somewhere.
