    • sea giants

Okay. I've already completed the game by killing that huge guy, but I feel like I'm missing out on the whole sea giant thing. A lot of you guys have helped me on the way, and I'm wondering if there's anything earth-shattering about killing a sea giant, and if I should continue playing the game. I can't bear the thought of playing for twenty more hours just to find out. So let me give you my stats:
      Life 167
      S 26
      D 22
      V 27
      S 11
      M 12
      L 18
      UP 50
      MP 0

      Level 23
      Exp 917956
      Next level 1139750

My stats vary with whatever I'm carrying at the time, and I think I have every weapon available. Should I keep going, or should I just call it quits?

    • Nothing really earth shattering, but they can drop really cool stuff, for example a Ring of Gods (+3 to all stats except speed, I think). They are also the best experience you can get. Though I'd suggest that you get over to Kalixa's island and buy some potions to get strength and dexterity up. Sea Giants are a little easier to kill if you have more dexterity (more hits for you, less for them) and strength (more damage, WOOHOO!). So yeah, that's basically what's up with the giants.

(PS-if you're carrying pretty much every item/weapon/whatever sell some of it! (best at Gwyden camp or Fungus' getaway) Do you really think you need those low damage daggers and short swords?)

    • MickyBIs is right again. Select a few of your best weapons and your best armor and sell all the rest (at one of the two places he mentioned) and then visit Kalixa.

If you plan on playing some of the major plugins, (i.e. WoC, DiD) you will have to get into Sea Giant territory. Spells Expander does not require your going there but certainly makes it easier if you're a conjurer. The plugins give you more story so that just running around killing monsters is no longer boredom. Good luck with your game. ~RD

    • If your going to go fighting Sea Giants, have a LOT of luck. The more luck you have, the more stuff they drop (it usually doesn't matter once you get more 200 luck, though). Sea Giants can also drop elixirs and stat potions, which saves you more than a little money since you don't have to buy them. By all means, go kill some giants. Gidolan Keep is a good place to start.

EDIT: You also should get your life up to at least 250, because sea giants can deal up to 250 damge PER HIT! Also, what class are you playing?
