i'm on a mac, running the latest version of POG,
and probably about 10 different plug-ins,
trinity, uberguardian, world of chaos, more spells,
even more spells, Damsels

sorry, i can't remember all of them,
the point is, i reach the spot in the game
where you go to the island with all the harpies on it,
and as soon as the game blinks us there,
it crashes, over and over and over and over.

this is frustrating for a guy who's been playing this particular charactor for a while.

any suggestions, or am i screwed?

I don't think you'll have any trouble with the major plugins (Trinity, Sapphire, WoC, DiD, SE) but some of the minor ones may have a conflict. I suggest you take a few out at a time until it works without crashing. BTW, there is a known bug with Game Continuer. You cannot use it and finish the game because PoG does not allow you to enter the Guardian's chamber a second time. The Game will either freeze or crash if you do so.

If you isolate the problem, please post your results here so we can take a look at it.

It sounds to me like this particular game file has become corrupt somehow. Do you have an earlier saved game you can go back to? Also, have you tried increasing the memory allotment to PoG?

Edit: Have you recently changed your OS to Panther? There are known problems there.

And it doesn't crash, it just hangs there.

no earlier file i can go back to,
i can still play the file, with the other plug-ins on,
just can't go to the reef island.

well i haven't done the damsels quest yet, maybe i'll just do that.
