      Do they conflict

      Im in the middle of writing a plug for Nova. I've just got the hang of mission bits but I am a little hazy on some points.
      If i write a mission with the on succes as setting b602 then surely this would let you jump into another storylinne halfway through that has the same bit as a requirement.
      Im not sure if im missing something.

      EDIT this is a bit off topic but is it possible to move someone from the planet where they are offered a mission to a different planet where they can accept or refuse the mission, a bit like at the end of all the strings you are transported to the developers planet. EDIT

      2. Yes (sort of). I only know how to do it using EVNEW though.
      You'd have to make another non-refusable mission before the other misn you had in mind. On this non-refusable misn, in the OnSuccess field you'd type M(resource # of the syst you want to send the person to. ex: M472 sends someone to s7evyn). Also in the OnSuccess field you could add a bit (say b888) and then make the misn YOU had in mind only available if the person had b888.

    • Is there a list of mission bits that are not used in the standard nova scenarios.

      I cant get the mission that moves the player to show up, i think it sets the bits but the offer text doesnt come up. Does anyone know how to set up the mission to move the player in mission computer.
