    • cave surrounded by cyclops

I'm not worthy yet to challenge the Sea Giants, so I'm just exploring to get more stats. I came across a cave far south of Fantrima that has tons of cyclops hanging around it, but I can't seem to get to the rope ladder. I'm sure this was designed to be frustrating, and I could use any help that anyone has to offer. Also, I'm told that I need at least 220 to confront the Sea Giants. Do I really need to screw around for another two weeks, or is there a simpler way of getting more hit points?

      You guys rock!

If you are where I think you are, there is a rope bridge which comes up from the south and the cave surface sort of forms a horseshoe around it. There are two entrances to that cave. You have to go outside and head west into the next screen. Cross the stream and head east and look for a secret path through the trees in the southern part of the square you were originally in.. That's where you will find the other cave entrance. That is the southeast corner of Garendall. I you want to have (or see) a map of the area, click the link in my signature below. The two cave entrances are on page seven, square number 105, and the cave layout is shown just to the right of it.

There is no simple way without using cheats which I think, personally, ruin the game. But with any spare gold you have, buy elixirs of vitality from Kalixa at Witch Finger, and every time you level up you will get a larger boost to your health points. Good luck with your game. ~RD

      Hi!

Truly, I'm not trying to be combative here, but I thought the whole purpose in playing a game was to get as much play value from it as possible.

Throughout the game, I kept trying to find the highest scoring boogers to kill ... saving frequently ... so I could raise my level.

Once I was high enough, I actively sought out sea giants just to raise my level faster and collect booty to sell so I could go visit Kalixa at Witch Finger and purchase more strength, vitality, etc.

There are cheats available. But I don't wanna cheat. I wanna play. Besides, I like to whomp the heck out of things so I can remain the sweet, loving person that I am. 😄

If ya "really need to get there over night", there are all sorts of plug-ins available to assist you.

But if you wanna play the game, just get out there and whomp some butt!

      Go have some fun!
      Pam
