Good job, Ducky! A long and happy life (or whatever one says to someone who has recently become a mod)!

Thanks! I've already led the long and happy life - I think what one says is, "Oh, I pity you."

Really? I seem to recall that Orabas gave me the quest to reforge the shield, and the order crest at the same time. Thus, you could go into the Gaurdian's chamber without it. And this is why there is the teleport plugin. If you defeated the Gaurdian first, you wouldn't be able to awake the giant. When you have that plugin installed, it will teleport you to Berglum if you do not have the Mil'karas Shield.

Clones are people two.
If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up?
A man who's out to save Gidolan Keep, flies an Auroran ship, and hacks into computers to keep the bricks from falling past the line of destiny? Yep, that's me!

You are right - well partly. You have to have all the parts to the shield to get the crest, but you can get into the Guardian's chamber before the shield is reforged. The shield won't work on the toe if it is not reforged. The plugin Teleport will send you back to Berglum but that's where the trouble starts. (No fault of yours.) After you get the shield done, you head merrily back to the Guardian only to find out you can't defeat him twice. The Teleport plugin does not allow you to finish the game. Sorry Cafall, I don't know if you still read these, but the player is stuck at that point with no way to finish the game.
