I must have missed this when it was released: (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum9/HTML/002651.html")http://www.ambrosias...TML/002651.html(/url)
Downloaded it today and was just flabbergasted. This is easily the most important app for debugging EVx since PlugChecker, and stands alongside Pontus Ilbring's EVO Map software as one of the must useful small apps ever!
If you haven't tried it, then this basically simulates following your EVN thread through missions, as well as searching for where bits are used. It isn't perfect because it gets the mission text in the wrong places sometimes, but this is easily spottable using Mission Computer.
Note that this isn't an editor - it's a kind of lightning play through. It's shaved months off my development time in just a day's usage.
As it's only version 1.0.0 don't expect the universe from it - it doesn't track VisBits so it sometimes shows missions as available which actually aren't. Likewise it doesn't make sense of the Char function, which means I had to insert a couple of new missions to allow you to manually select the appropriate ncbs before starting.
Nonetheless, this app definitely takes the biscuit. I'm just amazed that it got so little commentary when it was released.
Kudos to the author, anyway.
