SP, the frames are because of the orca.ma.cx. Technically, that page is (url="http://"http://www.freepgs.com/orcaloverbri9/bfd/bfd.shtml")here(/url), but I use orca.ma.cx because it's easier to type.

Firstly, is the plural of appendix: appendixes or appendices? if the latter, I wrote appendixes in 2, the third bullet, and at the beginning of 6.
It's appendices. I'll fix any "appendixes" I find.

At the end of 2, after TC, insert "(Total Conversion, that replaces the default scenario, as opposed to a plug-in that bases on it)"
Done.
Quote
In 3, after "The Bible should not", there is a br> leftover
Fixed.
Quote
In 4, after spöb, put "(stands for SPace OBject)" and after shÀn, "(stands for SHip ANimation)"
Done. I know you posted this earler, but I wasn't sure where you meant.

In the beginning of 5, there is an odd ": From theory to practice" you should remove
Hmm...I thought I fixed that. Maybe I repasted 5 and forgot to do it over. Oh well, fixed.
Quote
in 5 remove "like we did" (after "so if you want to replace the shuttle with a better version" around one third of the first paragraph), it was meant for a mod of light blaster originally, which is the thing done in the introduction
Done.
Quote
in Appendix II, A, "LinkSyst field in the flëgövtt resource", remove that "gövt"!
Done.
Quote
in B, I should have precised: "in Nova data 5, check the last dësc resources by ID"
Done.

in C, I see the hex additions in black (in Safari), not very clear on that background...
That's not my fault, it's SP's stylesheet. Seriously, though, I have nothing to do with that. It really is SP's stylesheet doing that.

in D, instead of "-to be filled-", put "I'm trying to explain these in this guide (will be put soon!)", same "will be put soon" for E, you will upload it soon won't you SP? The contrib/req/scanmask will be made soon, I swear. I did the ScanMask already.
Done.

in F, the list does not seem to be very coherent: the first ones (PICT, STR#, rlë ) are not list items.
You mean at the beginning? Well, that was displayed as a regular comma'd list in your post, not a linebreak'd one, so that's how I kept it.
Quote
Append at the end: ", and editors usually can't edit them."
Done.

The "PICT can't replace rlë" issue is indeed important enough to be mentioned, especially as PICT can be considered for just trying before enrle-ing, but that can't be done for existing ships (happened to me, actually...); thanks for reminding me about that. So he're what should be added at the end of the rlë subsection:
"However, there is one case you can't stick to PICT. If you're trying to change the appearance of an existing rlĂ« with a plug, and you put the new appearance with a PICT and his mask, there won't be any in-game change. That's because the original rlĂ«'s are still considered (the PICT has same ID than the rlĂ«, but not the same resource type, so the overriding rule does not apply), and if the engine has both PICT and rlĂ«'s available, it will always load the rlĂ«'s over the PICT, even if the PICT is in a plug and the rlĂ« is not. Therefore, either rlĂ«-ise your images from the start, or add the relevant(s) shĂ€n(s)/spÄn(s) to your plug as well, and modify it (them) so that it (they) references an ID unused by either a PICT or rlĂ«, and change the IDs of your PICT and mask to match. It should now work."
Done.

Other than that, great work, I hope it will be able to help new plug devers real soon. Thanks all for your cooperation; soon I'll start a new topic for the contrib/req/scanmask guide.
You're welcome, no problem.
SP: I'll email you the file ASAP. And as a side note, I have read ALL of that text at least 5 times over. Every single charcater.
