POSSIBLE SPOILER
I'm looking for Jimmy's mum "the Hag" and need a hint. I've been to the cave, which leads to the island south of Karax, but after I kill the Medusas nothing happens and I can't find anything. Could it be because I had already visited that cave and Karax previous to the mission? Thanks.

Karax is the old dwarf who fixes the Milla'kara shield with the dragon teeth. The dwarf does not live in a cave or on an island. Orobas, the elf, sends you to find Karax when you have all the parts of the shield assembled. You seem to be searching in the wrong place.

Karax does not live on an island unless you consider the streams that flow around his property and the land in the square to the east as making it a large island. Since it is connected by a couple of bridges, I don't think of it as an island. However, the Hag does live on an island near Karax. Her island, completely surrounded by water, is not off the coast, but rather in the middle of a river. I can't get much more clear than that without telling you exactly where to head. Follow the river banks closely until you find a good spot to jump across.
