I stopped playing Ev Nova some time ago. But now im interested to play it again and i want to know if the multiplayer Versions or 3D versions are still in progress or given up.
I stopped playing cuz i saw no more challenge in the game . But the Multiplayer version would be surely a big challenge for me.

As for EV 3D, I recall reading that one of the powers-that-be said that that too will never be made. I recall hearing talk of an unofficial multiplayer EV-esque game being made by a few web board members, but I haven't heard about it in months.

Its not going to happen. Period.
I know of an EV-esque game in development by a few board members that uses 3d models as opposed to rendered out sprites (allowing for lighting effects and such), but it isnt 3d in the sense of what you are thinking.
If you want an EV multiplayer 3d type game play that crappy microsoft produced thing.

Thx a lot for the information but i am already using plug-ins and i already made some myself ( cargo and mass additions which are available on the Plugi-in download page)
At all i think the most plug-ins are makin' the game easier and not more challengin'.

If it's really that easy, you can certainly make it harder by just not getting all the best stuff and self imposing some limits on yourself. (If taking on a fleet in a Raven is too easy, try doing it in a viper. That's a challenge, though not impossible)
