      can someone give an in-depth gide on how to create planets with EVNEW i would like to know especcialy what the diffrent ID's looklike. Do a link to a webssite if u want. but dont refer me to anything like the Bible. i dont understand it very clearly, but i get the basic idea

    • Don't know about EVNEW specifically, but the basic idea is simple:

      -Create a new spöb resource with an ID number not used by Nova. Spob settings are fairly simple; for the most part, you only need to worry about (a) what government controls it, (🆒 whether it has a bar/outfitter/shipyard, © which graphic it uses (check Nova Graphics 2 for the Nova spďns), and (d) its tech level. The name of the spob resource is the planet name.

      -If you want it in its own system, you need to create a s˙st resource. The syst primarily just needs the ID number of the spöb, the coordinates of the system, and the IDs of any systems it hyperlinks to. You can set a bunch of other things, but those are the primary things to worry about. If you want it in a preexisting system, you need to add the spöb's ID number to that s˙st. (Make sure the planet's coordinates don't put it on top of another planet.)

      -The description of the planet, seen when you land, is stored in a dësc with the same ID # as the spöb. Write that up.

      -If you want the bar to have a description as well, that is stored in a dësc with ID # 10000 + (ID of spö🆒 - 128.

      That's pretty much it.

      Ok a simple crash corse in EVNEW regarding spobs and descs.

      1. Whenever you are creating something, it will show you what desc resource is associated with what ever you are creating. (it will be in black letters and not next to an input area)

      2. Whenever you make something, it's id # is automatically one above what ever came before it starting at 128.

      3. When creating spobs, make sure that you you input the desc that shows up when you input the new spob. Otherwise it will have no desc and when you look at the debug log it will say that you can land on your spob but that it has no description.
