Hi Ditanus. Welcome to the boards. That shield with the teeth is not much use against Sea Giants. You need better armor than that and probably more strength and stamina too. If you are just trying to get to the Old Dwarf Karax to get the shield re-done, I think you picked the wrong route to get there.

From Fantrima go two squares south, turn imediately west and cross the bridge. Now go east into the square you just left but you are now on the south side of the river. Head south in that square but make sure you take a branch to the east. This will avoid the jolly green giants. Go three squares south and head west again. Cross another bridge and look for the dwarf living in the south of that square.

If you would like a map of the area you can get one at the link in my signature below. Good luck with your game. ~RD

The best weapons against sea giants are the Staff of Lordship (from Spells Expander) and the Blade Diabolus (from Damsels in Distress). This knocks them out quite easily.
One more quick tip: when you get the Milla'kara shield reforged, use it while fighting undead and mindhunters. It gives good undead protection and very good mind protection.

I'm sure Stark is as pleased as I am that you like the new weapons, but bear in mind that many of us killed Sea Giants before either of these were available. Strength and stamina make it possible with the weakest of weapons. This just means killing a lot of cyclopes and earth elementals, etc. until you have built up your muscles.

I think that before I had Trinity I killed one with the best weaponas and armor in the game. I wouldn't have done it, but I hread about the Ring of the Gods and I wanted one, but I had a rather high amount of luck and the first sea giant I killed dropped one. That's pretty unlikely to happen, though. 😛

For those that don't know about it, the Ring of Gods is a hand- item that increases several of your statistics when you wear it. Like LifeKnight said, Sea Giants drop it.
