ok, when editing the EVN galxy map, adding new planets, if you take them past a certain (x,y) value, the item dissapears, but the selection marker stays. If a planet is placed there, will it be visible in the game?

Oh and can anyone tell me why when I jump into my new system, the screen goes white and the game crashes?

    • This should be on the EV Developer's Corner forum.

(Oh, and you also might want to mention what editor you're using.)

Sound's like your using Mission Computer. If you are, I encountered a similar Problem. The way I managed to get around it, was I made a map in the EVO developers map, with 4 systems, each in opposite corners, I then used context/restore to convert it into Nova, and when I opened it in Mission Computer I used the Galaxy editor and I could place any systs anywhere, thus my problem was solved. Why, I do not know.

I don't know whether this will work in Res-Edit with Novatools (creating 4 systs in Novatools, then saving it and opening the file in Mission Computer) But I have a feeling it will. Give that a try, it'll save the hassle of downloading EVO developers map and Con-text/restore.

    • I had the same problem, but I simply closed and reopened the galaxy editor whenever that happened.

Simpler solutions that don't really solve the problem, hehe.
