Thanks. Yeah, please check the logs, there may be something in there.
There has also been some reports of 10.2 behaving oddly with saving games. I don't use 10.2, so I am not familiar with what it does, but apparantly you can't create a new saved game(ie, you have to overwrite an existing saved game). Perhaps there are some other oddities between 10.2 and PoG that need to be ironed out.
I would recommend that you "manually" create a few extra saved games for you son to save with. If he uses just 1 saved game and continually overwrites it, and then something bombs and corrupts the saved game, then he will lose a lot of playing time without much recourse to reaquire it. If he incrementally saves his games(ie, save1.pog, save2.pog, save3.pog, etc) as he goes along, if one game gets corrupted then his previous saved game shouldn't be too far back. But again, the only problem with this is that 10.2 won't create new saved games. So in the mean time why don't you create a slew of saved game files(either duplicate one of his saves and rename it incrementally, or create a blank text file and name it with a .pog extension) that he can overwrite his saved games with.
Good luck, and keep us posted with anything you might find.
