    • Free Infini-D 4.5 updater anywhere?

      Before you even begin to make whatever accusations and/or lecture about stuff. I have already have a full program of Infini-D 4, a present my older brother gave to me long before I even heard of the game Escape Velocity. Heck, he even got me that bigass manual instruction book for it.

      Also, I have used the search engines on this site to find any leads for a free update site, but nothing I found was useful.

      So do any of you guys know possibly where I can download a free update? And yes, I searched throughout the internet and the only links I encounter claiming I can download the update no longer exists.

      Correct me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that the maker of this program disappeared a long time ago. Anyways, if you go to the Image Gallery, there are no people there who use Infini-D, so I don't think you'll have very much success here.

      Actually I thought that they didn't dissapear, that they focus more on Carrerra which supports opening Infini-D files and stuff. I was just hoping that somewhere along that line I would find the update or something.

      Infini-D is no more. Sorry.

      I once had a copy of a demo of some version (a few years ago), but I think it deleted itself. Meh.

      Anyhow, you may notice that specular.com is nonexistant. Sorry, but I'm almost 100% sure that you're stuck with whatever you have.

      On a better note, at least you can open the EVO models! 🙂

      And I just happen to have the last version, 4.5. If you'll give me some time and maybe send me an email so i don't forget, I'll put it on my server. 🙂

      I'm hoping that 4.5 would have a better texturing interface than what I have. It's hard enough to try to guess where the image will go when I have to model pieces one by one.

      Umm, nevermind, I managed to do a search on the internet and found the serial codes for it. I must say, the rendering seems to be a lot faster than the 4.0 and the pop-up list to select objects, lights, or cameras acutally works for once.

      The Manual document, not the readme, won't open for some reason.
