    • Oh, they will SpacePirate. They will. I can use alot /most/all of that stuff for the Solar Police (SolaPol) in SS (of course, they already do some it ;)). And thanks to Az and Jonathan again for the bounty-hunter idea- I totally see your vision Az. That would be hilarious. I'm copying all this stuff and putting it on my "To Be Implemented" list .

      You know, it's interesting- the farther along SS goes, the more open it gets to new ideas, instead of the other way around. Just today, there's been tons of good stuff I've been able to loot- and a few more solutions looking for problems (BORC, anyone?). Of course, NeonSoldier also described the plug as looking like a train wreck in progress, so maybe I should cut back on the looting, raping, and pillaging.

      You should have SS T-shirts saying 'I Ate the Developers Corner' or something like that, seeing as how it seems to be consuming everything in its path.

      That's possibly a good idea. You may end up running out of resources at some point. Most likely crons. Extra NCBs can be scraped out by using otherwise unused spob resources and destroying/regenerating them, so that's not so bad. Outfits could get scarce if you use a lot of BORCs or BONCs.

    • Masamune, I don't know if this will work, but if you run out of bits you could have a mission activate that tells you to quit and load "SS Data 2" into your Nova Files folder. Your TC would have to be INSANELY huge to even consider this and its probably more trouble than its worth, but I think it could work.

    • We, the members of the dev board, actually discussed that option a long time ago- there's no reason it wouldn't work, it was decided.

      But Ace, if it gets anywhere near that big I'm going to have somebody take me out and shoot me! I'm trying to compile a list right now of everything I've already done, everything that is set up but needs to be expanded, and everything I still want and or need to do. One must prioritize- and finalize! When that's complete, I think I'll post it here, so I can stop saying "Oh, SS has already done that/is doing that/will do that".

      Totally. I think you'd have to make it a non-refuseable missionthat appears in the main spaceport, and just describe the player using the BBS.
      Can you make a non-refuseable mission in the mission bbs? I've never tried, but I don't remember anything in the bible saying you can't... if so, that would do the trick. It would probably work like a bar/trading dialog/etc mission, if it works. I'm going to check.
