    • I'm wondering what kind of experience you have. Noticed that you were the most recent registered user. Not doubting you, just asking. Welcome and I hope you find what you're looking for.

    • All the graphics designers here already have projects. Why are you making it for EV-C? I dont think many graphics designers would like to help out on a plug that nobody will use because nobody plays EVC anymore. Even if it was for Nova you would have a hell of a time getting a graphics person to do graphics.
If you want info on graphics programs to do the graphics yourself, search this board for mentions of 3d modeling programs.

      Key word: "might." 😉

ICEMAN: If you are doing anything to do with Star Trek, then it would be exceedingly difficult to make it a plug-in rather than a TC. TCs are long and difficult to make, even for EVC. Anyhow, it's a simple concept:

None of the good graphics people here, even if they weren't involved in a project already, are going to join a project they don't know much about. Make the plug-in using placeholders first, then ask. That's what I plan to do, if I ever finish. The key word her is "if." If (no pun intended) they doubt that you will finish, they have no reason to help you, as their work would never be used (in that particular plug-in, at least).

    • Welcome to the board and happy holidays.

I don't think anyone is trying to discourage you from a project here. However there are quite a few posts about how to make stuff. I am also working on a plug and one of the first things I did was to dig through a bunch of the older posts to see how to do things such as shipmaking. You may find it more satisfying to try to give it a go on your own first. If nothing else it shows your commitment to a project and that will go a long ways when you do ask for help.
