Is there a site/spreadsheet/document that has all the bits used in Nova?

I found (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl/ResUsedList_v1.0.6.txt.sit?path=evn/guides&file;=ResUsedList_v1.0.6.txt.sit")this(/url) and (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl/EV_Nova_Reference.zip?path=evn/guides&file;=EV_Nova_Reference.zip")this(/url) on the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/games/evn/addons.html")Addons Page(/url). I think the first one might be want you seek.
N.b., I have downloaded neither one, so I cannot personally vouch for either one.

Yep, ResUsedList has a complete list of the bits used in the stock scenario.
For those who are interested, it has a list of every resources IDs used by Nova, displayed in alphabetical order.

I often wonder why ATMOS couldn't have used a more compact range of ncbs.
They could have just used bits under 1,000... that would have made plug developer's lives a lot easier.

Maybe it made their lives easier.
The method I've decided to use for my own TC is designed for maximum ease for myself. I see nothing wrong with others doing the same.

It'll get really easy if someone writes a program to take a series of missions and trace out bit expressions for them with unused bits.
This would allow a flowchart type planning of mission strings that could result in interesting non-linear strings.

Dont post just to criticize someone's name. Please. And if he wants his name to be an odd (yet well-reading) spelling of a word, let him.

The reasonable explanation I have for them not using bits from 1 to 1000 only, is that they had different start bits (0,1500,3000, etc...) for different sets of missions, and that they used consecutive bits after these start bits for their sets of missions (one set going from 1500 to 1502, one other going from 3000 to 30009), that they had to delete some missions and they did not reuse the associated bits (thus the gap between 149 and 152). Isolated bits are there for enabled outfits/ships so that different things could activate them without interfering with missions (for instance, RAGE Gunboat which can activated either by a crö or with the completion of the "test Gunboat" missions). Maybe you have programmed in BASIC one day. The tradition widely used is (was?) to number the line from 10 to 10s, and if ever you need to add a line of code between two, you just have to number it ending by a 5; it's something similar here, it made their live easier, just that we have to cope with it, but it shouldn't be that hard.
