Download stuffit 7.5, not 8.0 (People read the instructions, then try to use 8.0). Drag the plugin onto the converter (People ask where the converter is. Did they ever try looking in thier nova folder?). Drag the .rez into your plugins folder (people drag resource.map and/or the unconverted plug).
Why are users so stupid that we can't just release one version of the plug? I do not know why, but it seems that they have a really hard time with this.
Note that it doesnt help when people post to the addons page a .hqx file, which can only rarely be properly opened on windows, or worse still, a .bin file which something ends up mangling before it gets saved. Stuffit and Postit. I am sure it is harder to upload .sit.hqx.sit files than a simple .sit.
Also, plug-makers, if you want people to be able to use the converter on your plug, (atleast in this version. Hopefully this will be fixed at some point), you cannot have illegal charachters in your filename. No /'s. Like in the AAC/MD Starbridge Lights plug. That one cannot be converted on a PC, because they put a / in the filename, and the converter chokes when making the file from it.

I use windows. I dont mind having to convert plugins. As long as they arn't uploaded in some bizzare format that is nigh impossible to open, and dont have any illegal charachters in them that make them impossible to convert.

Dude chill...
All plug-ins I upload will be in .sit (hell I could even do it in .zip for a win version)
My problem is a don't have a windows machine to do the conversion on, so I would need to find some way to do it on mac...
