I am interested in creating plugins. I am using windows xp and want to know of any editors for Nova out there I can use. Emulators are my last ditch effort due to money problems. Also I am interested in editing some plugins I already have, possible? I am interested in creating many plugins for anyone who has suggestions also and I will try to make them compatible with each other due to my frustration with certain plugins that I have had that cause problems with the others. Suggestions on any of these? How about 3d editors too, I have an idea for a ship or two?

Which is good. There are no PC plugin editors. Some are in progress, but the only one i know of has been "a week away" for the past month.
You will need to use an emulator with resedit and novatools.
You can definately edit plugins, but not if you have to convert them from windows back to mac format (there is a converter, but i belive it is PPC only).

The emulator is free but you will need a ROM disc I think which I've heard you can get on Ebay for like $10. Searching the Nova discussion boards should give you a little more insight if you're interested. Since I use a Mac I really have no idea how to emulate one on a PC so I can't really help you any further.

Well, using google, it isnt hard to get a rom image, though it is technically illegal. It seems that apple pays no attention to people pirating rom images for early 90's macintoshes, and have publicly released versions of mac OS that old.
