    • What Files can you open in Strata 4.0?

I have some models at school in some format... can't remember exactly right now think it was .ipt or something. It's on Inventor 5 so if anyone knows that... Well my problem is finding out what files you can open on Strata 4 so I can finish some models at home and maybe get them posted on EV Image Gallery.

I currently want to post my model of the C.H.A.O.S. Divebomber...

    • Strata 4 sucks. Find a copy of strata3D 3.02, it's less cut back.

As for the question, I ain't sure.

    • Where? Why is 3.02 better? I'd like to know..... 😛
Also it still begs the question, "what type of files can you open?" Only on 3.02 now instead of 4

    • Well it's better because it has more features yah? The company have been routinely cutting them back, possibly to get people to buy the Pro version (which absolutely kicks arse).

I wish I had more dough...

EDIT: Just realised that most people don't take this logical step: Do a damn google search boy! 🙂

    • Since I just looked for it myself for my own reasons, here's the link to the online manual for Strata 3: (url="http://"http://www.strata.com/support/3dmanual/index.html")http://www.strata.co...nual/index.html(/url) . Go to "Supported File Formats" under "Appendix."

For import/ export capabilities of Strata 3.8, see (url="http://"http://www.strata.com/products/strata3d_comparison.html")http://www.strata.co...comparison.html(/url) .

So -- of course -- checking this out didn't solve my problem. I've got free Poser models that I found online that I want to move into Strata, and I don't own Poser. If there's a free or cheap utility out there that can do this, I haven't managed to find it. Anyone got an idea?
