      Well im on a pc and i have basilik || ( a mac emulator running or 7.5 or something ) , anyways i got resedit working ) except nova tools wont work , wat i do!?!??!?!!
      Anyways how do you use rededit , i tried readin the nova bible buut i dont understand 1 little thing bout it.
      Help ?

      Try reinstalling Nova Tools following the instructions to the T. "Start ResEdit. Quit. Start ResEdit. Open ResEdit Preferences. Open NovaTools. Copy all resources in NovaTools to ResEdit Preferences. Save ResEdit Preferences. Quit ResEdit. Start ResEdit. Enjoy."

      Or you could try running Mission Computer on the emulator.

      I have one problem and i dont understand wat it means or how to fix , everytime i try to open something ( example would be Pilot analizer) it says The document " name here " could not be opened , because the application program that created it could not be found.
      Could not find a translation extension with appropiate tranlators.
      Now i have no clue wat that means , n1 give a hand of help?

      Are these files plug ins that you're trying to open or something else? Your comp may not know what to open the files with if you're just opening them directly. Try opening them from ResEdit or else dragging them onto ResEdit to open.

      And please chill on the AOL speak. Skimping on just a couple words really doesn't save any time.

      No , they are programs , they dont open , like if i double click Pilot Analizer , wich would be somethign like pilotanalizer.exe on a pc it doesnt open.
      Im on basilik||and wen i try to open something it says that long message

      Sounds like it's not recognising them as independent programs so either you only have fragments of the programs (truncated download, or corrupted unStuff) or they may not be compatible with the system software you're running. This is especially true if the programs are designed for OS X. Does this happen for every program you try to run on the emulator or just a few? If it's happening with all of them then I'm guessing you're emulator isn't functioning properly. If it's just a few verify that they're compatable with the system you're running and reinstall. Also, since this isn't EV related, you might get a better response (and would be better suited) if you asked on Just Tech.
