I've made a plug that makes a huge fleet apear in a system, but the fleet never shows up. I've made sure I had the right syst ID and tried a lot of different systems but they never show. What am I supposed to do to make the appear.

Fleets will generally have a % chance to appear. Make sure the % is greater than 0. Also, make sure the individual ships in the fleet have >0% chance to appear, otherwise nothing will happen.

You may also consider playing with the max ships in the system. I believe it will only show a fleet if its contains less ships than that field in the s˙st resource.

It's another field in the resource. Are you using NovaTools?

Yes, I have Novatools, but the only fields in the flet editor are: lead ship, govt id, syst id, the fields for specifing escorts, appearon, and quote str id.

Open up your syst editor and there should be a spot that says fleet appearance (I think...). You could then select your flet.

Again, I'm not quite sure. This is just a suggestion.

If you are using ResEdit, you can fill in the negative of a fleet's resource ID in one of the düde resources to have the fleet appear with that percent chance.

Does it make any differnce if the system is conquered? I have the perfect spot picked out, but it's been conquered.
