Hi everyone, I'm new here, but not to the game. Played EVC when I was probably 7 or 8.

Anyway, I can't get the Paint Station Prime plug-in to work with 1.06, I was wondering if anyone might know why, or could direct me to some other paint plug-in, or teach me how to make my own or anything. I'm not using any other plug-ins with it, either, in case they might be conflicting.

good question. i don't know. but i can offer some advice that might help in the long run.

there are only a fews systems that contain the station in them. SOL, Main planet of the polarans(can't think of it off hand) and i belive Aroura.

anyways, make sure you have a registered copy on Nova. just a long shot of course, you probly do, anyways, make sure you have it in the right folder, again, you probly do, i'm just being thourou(not completly sure how its spelled).

ok, if all else fails, try making a new pilot and heading to SOL. should be right of earth a bit.

i guess i'm not to much of a help.

Tried all that. It's most definitely not in the Sol system, presumably it'd show up as one of the ports in the other systems anyway, right?

I think it's something wrong with the plug itself, for one thing, it's icon is just that of a plain document, rather than a plug-in icon. I tried opening it in MissionComputer to change the tech level so I could buy paint anywhere, and it didn't know if it was a EVC, EVO, or EVN plug, then when I did change the tech level to 0, it still didn't work.

Do you have resedit? If so open paint station prime with resedit. Then pull down the file menu and go to "get info for paint station prime". In the box beside type write Npďf and in the Creator box write Növä. you write the ö, ä, and ď by pressing option and u together then typing your vowel.

Just so you know, that bug is a problem with StuffIt Expander 7.0. You may wish to update it.

That is why i kept stuffit 6.5 i have yet to met a file i can't unload with it, and i download aproximitly 5-6 files a day. i like to try new game demos.
