    • win ev nova plugs ins...problems.

      When i use the plug in converter that comes with the ev nova windows install, are most of the plugs on the ambrosia add on sites functioning for anyone? when you put the rez file in your plug ins folder? I've tried several random plugs, the relaint and the the rebels to be exact. take the stuffit file expand it. read what ever read-me's come with it. Drag the mac based file to the coverter.... and the converter runs... I get a rez file. I don't use the resouce.map . the .rez and it won't work. What am I doing wrong?

      If the resource.map file is left in the evn folder, (the one with the .exe, not the plugins folder) evn will crash.

      THE GAME DOES'T CRASH, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE RESOURCE MAP IN THE PLUGS FOLDER. I DELETE IT EVEN BEFORE I PLAY THE GAME... EV RUNS FINE. THE PLUGS JUST AREN'T ACTIVATING.

      Okay. Just checking the obvious first.
      I have no real insight on this issue.
      Are you registered? Some people say that plugs dont work if you are unregistered, though I dont know wheather this is the case (i know i used the shield bubble plug unreg'ed).

      They had better not work when you're unregistered, because that's one of the things they did to get people to register. I don't know how you got shield bubbles to work unregistered.

      Did you check the option "Save Macintosh files in MacBinary format: When a file contains a resource fork" when you unstuffed it?
