      Could anyone tell me the reason that most of the mac plugins don't work for the the windows version of ev:nova?

      Yes i dropped them into the converter and nothing happens. Some of the plugs will work but it seems like most of them won't for some reason.

      I haven't had any luck getting the converter to work with .sit or .hqx files. You may have to unstuff the file before dropping it onto the converter.

      I think you need to set the unstuffing utility (Stuffit in this case) to unstuff in MacBinary format, and make sure it's like that before you run it through the converter.

      I've already set Suffit it save the macintosh files in .bin format when there is a resource fork like the how to says to do for win. I'll download it and unzip or unstuff or whatever and ill go into the folder and get the file that needs to be converted and the .rez file or any others needed don't show up. I'm thinking i might as well just break down and buy a cheap Mac.

      OK, you'll need the latest version of Stuffit Expander. Expand to a folder. You need the .rsrc file iirc. Drop that on the convertor, take the .rez and you have the plugin.

      It's worked for me before during the beta.

      Actually, blackhole, you don't want the latest version of stuffit. The latest version, according to Ambrosia, breaks plugins.

      They provide a link to stuffit7.5, which is pleasently half the size of version 8.0.

      To the orig. poster, make sure you hit 'refresh' on the folder where the plugin is after dropping it on the converter. Converter doesn't tell windows that something in the folder has changed, like it's supposed to.

      Finally got it to work. Instead of just opening the evnova folder and dropping the file in i used the open with thing u get when u right click.
