    • Straytoaster: Fungus's hideaway was an addition of Trinity(if I'm not mistaken) and
thus will not be listed in version 1 of the compendium/walkthrough.

Version 2 which I will begin as soon as I call Version 1 complete will feature plug-in
information, including trinity specials, etc. I will also list 3rd party plug-ins, for
those authors or players that send me plug-in compendium info(I will check some of them
out, but will not commit to looking at all plug-ins that will eventually come down the
      pipe).

      Its from PoG not Trinity.

if you want help on version 2 I would be willing to write a few sections for you.

    • There's been about a thousand topics on this. Just look around in the posts.

    • Another update uploaded. Additions include "Fungus's Getaway" and "Seashells." Kudos
to Straytoaster for mailing me a write-up on these two for inclusion.

Anything else? Or shall I call this puppy done?

    • Version 1 (the current version) is only dealing with the standard game of POG. Version 2(which will begin production as soon as V1 is considered "done," packaged, and uploaded) will contain additional information on plug-ins including Trinity.

The seashells are a part of the standard game(just can't do anythign with them except sell them, as the compendium states) and thus are included in this version. In the next version there will be info about the grinder and using them for XP points.

Fungus I was told is also part of the standard game, and not a trinity add-on(I didn't verify this). If this is incorrect let me know and I will correct it for V1.

    • You want completion. I just checked this out. Picked up a dagger of ferret from a cyclops in the cave on cyclops coast. Stats say +1 speed and +3 dexterity. These were there and it also gives +15 undead protection. I am using no plug-ins. I think my first dagger of ferret was picked up in the northern territories but I have had as many as 3 at a time usually from either cyclops or sea monsters (the big guys). The +15 undead protection is important because it is not given in the description of the weapon.

    • Most excellent. I'll include that in the compendium info. Thanks.

      (edited to include following info:)
Compendium updated and uploaded with the info on the dagger of ferret and to add a missed bold html tag.

Don't forget to add it to the PoG web links page.

    • A minor correction: in the Dagger of Ferret's description, you said that you can get the Dagger from Archmages. However, this is not true. You actually get them from Rogue Mages.

The following is a list of the various types of Mages, and how to identify them (perhaps you could add this to the walkthrough):

      Rogue Mage
These guys have green robes with red trim and black hoods. Their attacking spells look like white balls of light with a flickering red glow. They can be found most commonly near the original headquarters of the Order of Crystal, and throughout the Northern Territories. Rogue Mages, though they don't give very good XP, give the best items of any Mage.

      Wild Mage
Wild Mages have violet robes with indigo trim, and their hoods are violet as well. Their attacking spells look like large green sparks.

      Rogue Archmage
Rogue Archmages have red robes with indigo trim and an indigo hood. Their attacking spells are fireballs. Rogue Archmages give the most XP.

    • Cafall!!! Sheesh, now you're going to make me place a bestiary in for V2.0! Ugh, more work... 🙂

Ok, V1.0 has been called done and uploaded to the addons page. I've also taken the suggestoin and placed a link on the web links page to the compendium.

Furthermore I uploaded a skeleton of what I'd like to have in V2.0 and uploaded it
to: (url="http://"http://www.avalon.net/~honda/pog/pogwalkthrough2a.htm")http://www.avalon.ne...lkthrough2a.htm(/url) (it is listed as V2.0a because until I get information fleshed out and into it it will be considered an alpha version and thus highly changeable).

Also this is a formal request/invitation for those wishing to see segments added to V2.0 that were not in V1 to make suggestions and for those wishing to write segments(plug-in walkthroughs/compendium info, bestiary write-ups, etc) to do so and send them to me. My email is listed in the above "email" button link.

      Thanks

I certainly agree. I'm hoping the majority(if not all) the npc's can be pulled off the coldstone CD(which I have). I haven't had the time nor the desire yet to check, but it is on my "things to do" list.

      Thanks for the suggestion.

    • This is an incredibly minor thing, but its Fungus's Getaway, not Fungus's Hideaway. I'd also be willing to do some sections for v2

The version on the webpage and the version uploaded both should say "Fungus's Getaway." I mis-typed waaaay up on the post list but that has been corrected. Thank you for pointing it out though. I'd much rather have several people point out an error than no one.

My rule of thumb is that anything not written is free game for submission. I would recommend dropping me an email(address is above, just click on the "email" button) and letting me know what you would like to write. This way if someone else has notified me already I can let you know that someone else is doing it so that you do not waste your time.

I especially would like some people to write sections for the various plug-ins out there, trinity included. Again email me if you would like to contribute and let me know what you would like to write.

      Thanks

This is really nothing major; I'm posting because I added a few npc pictures to display a possible format/layout. Let me know what you think of it.

Another update uploaded includes more npcs(including guardian and sea giant) and a more table-like format listing hps and xp.

If anyone has info on damage range that the npc's do, I'd love to include that as well.
