    • EV:O Model Formats?

      Hello everyone...

I recently got my hands on the EVO models in Infini-D format. I was wondering...Has anyone ever converted them to 3DS, DXF, or any other format?

I have Amapi and Strata, as well as a host of other free programs, but I've never been able to find one that supports opening Infini-D files. Ideas?

      Thanks for your time.

    • Carrara (on both Windows and Mac, I believe) can open Infini-D models.

    • I am in the process of converting them to 3DMF. I will post them once they are done 🙂

    • I converted them to 3DMF about two/three years ago, using (since I didn’t have a registered copy, nor had the desire to buy one to just convert a few files) a “borrowed” copy of infini-d.

After two moves, and five reinstalls of OS X, I no longer have them (or the subsequent models that I “tweaked”)

Alas, these are all that’s left of said tweaked models, a few renders I made long long ago sniff

Oh yeah. I had that happen to me...I had a carrier I had made in Strata that Ewan had made... Evetually, I switched from my PowerPC to a iMac and forgot my models. Alas, what's gone is gone, and why greve over the past?

      Cool though...I like Carrara's 3d preview engine...
