      when creating a new ship, is there any way to make it only be able to purchase certain outfits (example--blasters but not reactors) without rewriting all the games outfit resources and editing contribute and require fields? I'm hesitant to majorly modify Nova Files.

    • That is probably the easiest way to do it.

      Another way, which may be a bit simpler, depending on which outfits you want useable, would be to remove the contribute A5 bit from the ship (which was used for the vell-os campaign) and make an extra bit for the outfits you want to use.

    • Well, you could also make a set of crons to check if the player has a forbidden ship-outfit combination and, if neccessary, remove the offending outfit. But that really wouldn't work well in terms of playability.
