    • EVula does accept them just not offically. You have to email him to get an account. Just get another account on geocities. 😛 Check out mine, I have 2 on geocities and one on EVula.

    • try (url="http://"http://www.50megs.com")www.50megs.com(/url)
It supports remote loading and it, obviously, gives you 50 megs, free!

Yeah, sounds good, but ,if I recall correctly from my exploration of free webhosts, 50megs gives you precious little bandwidth each month.

    • NOt to mention the size limits. I LOATHE size limits.

Btw, does anyone have problems with uploading on Geocities? Lately it has been slow as @#$%#$@ #@$%! It takes like 20 minutes to get halfway through loading a 7KB file...

Try using (url="http://"http://members.freewebs.com/")http://members.freewebs.com/(/url) . It isn't too bad, besides a bandwidth cap on large files.

(quote) From the freewebs terms of use:
All non-premium users are required to have the FreeWebs FreeBar Code on their website. This adds a very small strip at the bottom of the website saying, "This website is being hosted for Free by FreeWebs.com." Users can upgrade their user status to premium status for less than a dollar a month.

Non-Premium users are limited to 500MB of bandwidth per month. Premium users are limited to 1,000MB per month. Users can sign up for as much additional bandwidth as they require.

ALL files of a size larger than 1MB are served up at slow rates in order to guarentee bandwidth for the rest of our users. We recommend you host these larger files on other servers such as xdrive.com, yahoo.com, or freedrive.com and point to them from your FreeWebs sites.(/b)

Not bad if you don't use large files. Large files, however, are cut down to 7 KBps or less. I've gotten down as low as 1KB on a cable modem. :frown: However, apparently there is a new place for "ultra fast downloads for your large files" with Premium services, but that takes $$$.
