Firstly appologies, things all seemed to have happened at once here, and my lack of promoting this competition has thus resulted in a lack of entries in my inbox, 1 to be precise - and a damn excellent one at that. Sorry for my lack of input, and Id of liked things to have gone better, i can think of countless things I should have done on my part to get the ball rolling faster. Many thanks to EVula for his assistance in every way, much apreciated. I hear Skyblade plans to carry the competition under his wing, so I wish him all the best, and i know he'll make a better job of it than I did.

This is good, because I got art-burnt because of my life drawing class in school (3 hours every other day drawing nude models. Tiring if you're not used to it.) This quarter, I have absolutely no art classes, so I'm sure I'll get frustrated and turn something out. I do have a couple models in the works right now, so maybe I'll complete them.

Alright, then. For those of us who have little or no graphics skills, may I suggest a secondary competition in which aspiring ResEdit hackers create ship files for the different graphics, complete with relevant outfits and weaponry. Then, using the provided sprites and ship files, users judge the entire suite. Yes? No? Maybe? Should I be pitchforked and torched out of town?

I would suggest taking part in mrxak's challenges. It is solely development orientated. One competition's graphics, the other's programming.
