Every time i try to use the EVO pluginmaker i get an error -192. Is there a way to fix this? I am running EVO on a Bassilisk II emulated Quadra 650. I am running system 7.0.5. Please help!

Ok, that would be carbon, not carbin
Carbon is a kind of program type/thing that allows compatability between Mac OS 9 and OS X so that apps that are "carbonised" can be ran natively in both Mac OS 9 and X. OS 7.0.5 doesnt support Carbon, and anything below 9 doesnt either. This means that the program you have cant be run on any OS ran by an emulator (the highest Ballisk can support is 8 maybe 8.1 - this is because it uses non power pc ROM).EV-Edit is a rather buggy plug-in maker, that can easilly mess up and corrupt your plug-ins if you dont use it carefully. I would avoid it
Your best bet is to find A copy of the EVO bible and get Res-Edit. You can get res-edit from (url="http://"http://www.resexcellence.com/")here(/url) and the EVO bible from the essentials section of the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evo/addons.html")EVO Addons Page(/url).

Since most Basilisk II users here (including myself) seem to be running on system 7.5.3, I'd imagine it's some kind of incompatability with the older OS. Some utilities, however, like Mission Computer and EVO Developer's map run just fine on the emulator... ResEdit, as well.

Ev-Edit wil 100% percent give you enough trouble to make you cry for coplicated hex in resedit..... I had a pretty good plug in development for EVO, but the bug count was sooo hi..... and I get dizzy from trying to figure out codes.... now im into graphicss... and im good at it
