Every time I try to talk to the captains in Dernath and Berglum they wont listen. What did I do wrong?

Hi Frodo, If you were the captain of the garrison, would you listen to some young lad who came up and said "send all your men away"? To get their attention, you're going to have to make them believe you're for real. Septemris will tell you that his best General is being held captive in a cave in a swamp. If you go get this General, he will tell you to talk to the garrison captains. Then go see them and tell them the General sent you. It's amazing what a little name-dropping can do. ~RD

Regarding the previous post

Okay I freed the General from the swamp, but I don't remember any of the conversation. Anyways, when I talk to the garrisons at Dernath and Berglum they are ignoring me. I am not given an option to name drop.

My only hope (other than to start an earlier save game) is to find the General so he can give me the word. Where is he? He's not with Septemris. Where is he?

He's on the same map as Septemris - he's standing still next to one of the tents near the center of the map. He looks the same as all the other soldiers there, so you may have to talk to a few of them before you find him.

Thanks, Glenn, for the help. I'll look for the General tomorrow. Sorry for the delay in responding but I was in the Bahamas (yes there is life besides gaming).

I found him in the place you specified. The General's converations tree wasn't really that good, but it worked. Thanx.
