How do you link a new outf resource to a PICT resource?

How do you link a new outf resource to a PICT resource?I'm not sure how it's suposed to be done but what has worked for me is to open both resources so you can see the lists side by side. You'll notice that the pict resources are in the same order as the outfit resources. I think this is how Nova matches them up so you just have to make sure your pict's recource ID number puts it at the same point in the list as the out fit is in it's list. I think. Seems to work for me.

If you don't want to use NovaCalc, NovaTools has a menu item called 'Res ID conventions,' which tells you the resource ID numbers to use for most of the resources.

Or, you can look at the blank white square about as big as the outfitters pict, then look beneath it where is says something like "pict id: xxxx". Then just set your pict to that id and if it shows up in the outfit editor window, you've done it right.
