Hrm... I like it. I prefer it to the last one, since the lack of rear section makes it look less sparse. Texturing is again quite nice, although better bump on the grey/yellow section would be nice 
Whats the point of the grey pointy thing at the back? It looks a bit large to me, perhaps you could cut it down in height?

I dunno why I don't post in the image gallery.. the graphics are for a plugin, so I thought it seemed more relevant whenever I started the shot-of-the-month thing.
The reason for the thing in the back is that this is a stripped-down Galactic Conveyer. The architects of the ship decided to just leave that on there.
Look for the Havulaarium Cube next 'month'! well, it'll probably be in a few days because i'm so behind...

It just looks kinda goofy having that thing there. You could perhaps use booleans to cut it down slightly no? I think its because it has a sharp point at the top. Perhaps if you gave it a flat top kind of like this:

Neato. My only suggestions would be to keep the wild coloring down, add more mesh detail, and make the transitions into eachh object smoother.
Also, as was learned on the nova board before nova came out; the best way to do theese sorts of topics is to have just one big thing - who cares if it gets bumped down - when you post another ship, it'll be at the top again.

Thanks for the suggestions.. I've been thinking of redoing the model for this (already did the sprites, oh well :p), and I'll keep your suggestions in mind when I'm working on it.
I guess starting with the next SOTM, I'll just have a topic for all of 'em.
