      Not in my experience. It loads the Data files, then the plug-in, overriding the resources of the former with the latter, but the RAM is still required to do both initially, and if you don't have the requisite RAM you can't get the program to run.

      (edit) Regardless, it still doesn't answer my question -- what do those of us TC makers who are replacing the Data files do to convert our TC to the Windows version?

    • Well, that's odd, as I have Polycon and it consistently loads faster than Nova. I assumed that was because it was smaller and loaded first. I believe that the Windows version is supposed to ship with a converter, so you don't need to do anything. If you have a PC, though, you could download EVN for PC and convert it yourself. 🙂
      Except, of course, that that's for a plug-in. Duh. It'll probably still work much the same, though. If it doesn't, well, the person has to endure waiting for Nova then the TC to load. 😄
