A long long time ago, way back in early 2000, Joe Burnette (he still around?) and I began work on a TC plug-in for EVO. This was back in the good ol' days--we started planning it while the old boards were still around, when folks like Jim and Blazer and Ryan Ballantine were hanging in there, before EV3, before even EVO 1.0.2. We worked on it, on-and-off, for about seven months, before it quietly got dropped. No real reason--neither of us had the time, we hit some trouble standardising graphics, we lost contact for a while, 1.0.2 was released, then Nova made it obsolete...but the plug remains. We put a lot of work into it (list of what's done below), and I've decided, since it was my brainchild, that I'd quite like it if someone could finish it and release it, if anyone wants. I don't play EVO any more, so I'm not in a position to get it done, but should anyone so wish, they're welcome to have it, so long as Joe and I get some credit. There'll be a couple problems--as I recall, we used mainly free graphics, and I lost the list of where they're from, so it's either find them all, replace them all, or risk the wrath of a graphics designer or ten somewhere--but there's the makings of a new F-25 or FH in there (maybe).

31 spöbs (as I remember, this is what I was working on when it died)
121 s˙sts
27 wëaps
And lots and lots of borrowed graphics--ships, masks, weapons, planets, titles-- in a variety of styles (top-down, 3/4, different target graphics, the lot. At least some of them came from Meowx's free site, which I suppose are the 3/4 ones.)
It would all need updating for 1.0.2, probably, so I'm not pretending it wouldn't be a lot of work. But should anyone want to take it on, email me: flip@outside-reality.co.uk
There was a synopsis. Once. I can remember bits of it, and I'd be fairly happy to act as Creative Consultant for the project if plotline and so on are needed.
With nostalgia, regret, and greetings to anyone that remembers me,
JG
PS--for the one or two people who might be wondering, my other plug, Broken Shelter, died a very messy death involving a set of graphics, a fraudulent graphics designer, a nasty virus and two large aubergines.
