Hrm... Do we really have any of these people? You keep indicating that we have people who haven't posted here, and I haven't heard from any one of them. Did you get my picture then? I need imput for knowing weather or not to continue making graphics. I have the Corvette fully rendered and put in Rle format. It's ready to go for plug making. I was working on a fighter, but couldn't since I've got massive amounts of homework. I was planning on making a drone fighter as well. And a Cruiser.

Hmmm... I have a bunch of ships sitting around on my desktop, but I don't have a site to upload them, to so I can't show you to see if you're interested. And they look a little strange alonside nova ships, cause they're made with mechanisto.

Hmmm... let me think about this. I do have a lot of free time coming up and I felt like getting back into the moddeling. If you want a hand, I'm available.

Great News! I can do planets pictures! I got a free 30 trial of Photoshop that came with LunarCell (what Ambros./ATMOS?) used to create their stuff, I think.

Well, I don't know if my ship will ever be up; Azarda, If you email me, I'll attempt to send it to you.

Now about no_use_for_a_name not getting it... I'm going to try sending it stuffed. Also, I just used the file direct from Mechanisto. It comes out in simple text. Not usually difficult to open; I think your email server messed it up. Try opening it in simple text or Graphic Converter. I'll re-send it though.

Side note: I just made 3 other ships, and rendered the largest and smallest ones. I plan on making a troop transport for a cargo ship. I'll use it alot in missions if that's ok with NUFAN.

'Nother side note: With regard to my graphics, I don't have a use regulator yet. All I want is credit for their making and the ability to continue using them. If we ever get them uploaded. Hrm... Maybe I should try sending the plug files...

I tryed putting the picture into simpletext,Strata3D, and then BBEdit, and only the latter made it into some wierd text type stuff.

I plan to remake the systems to the west, at least the ones with uninhabitated planets, so they are destroyed.

I think we should be ambitious and make a TC. We could do it! It might take a while though, but it does look kind of funny just adding a new race with a completley different style of ships (cause of mechanisto).

I have got a couple of complete sets of ship graphics I never got around to using....

Hey, I'm all for a TC. That's what I wanted to do in the first place, and now that I can make graphics it'd be all the better. Especially since Azarda and I both use Mechanisto, the graphics would be the same. I've got an idea for a really huge map that we could use, them I wouldn't have to do it by myself.(can't name systems worth beans)

Note for Azarda: How do I get my ships centered in Mechanisto? I've been playing with them, and they won't center right, which causes all sorts of weird problems. For some unknown reason, my large ship shrinks when facing down. Maybe I shouldn't be trying to get the slight angle used. I've got an idea of what to do too, I'll try to get it to work, but eventually I'm bound to run out of hard drive space.

To do a TC, we would need alot more people. We would need a firm storyline(s), as well as a big plan. Maybe I should post something on the Nova web board, see if people would like it. If we do, here are a few proposals...

1. Keep a few sideline missions, like the Kontik mission, and have a Major storyline out of that. We could make an alien race, like the Wraith/Polaris, that only appear at a set time.
   2)Of course, it would take too long to completley redo the game, but 3/4 the size of Nova would do.
   3)Get more people!

When I was thinking TC, I was thinking new map, some new ships, some new weapons, then I realized that we can't eaily do that due to mechanisto, so all new ships+weapons, but if we did that I'd prefer to the syetem map/ some ships and weapons to missions. I think we'd need people, but not a whole lot.

Also, I wanted to make a map so big that there would be almost no way anybody could explore it all. Simply enormous map. That'd be fun. Anyway, I still need Azarda to email me, and then I think I'll send him my models and see what he thinks I should do to render them right. They keep moving around wrong when I spin them, and it's because I'm not getting them centered right.

Sorry, I have my last exam for my entire school career on friday, so it's been a little hectic, but after that I'll be free. Might have a big hangover though ;).

Okay Meaker, one thing that helps is if you use the 'rotate' transform to make spîns. Plus that way you get perfect shadows. If when you go from above the camera makes the ship look small, just zoom the camera in. I'll definitley get those emails to you tomorrow, sorry about the lack of promptness. I'll just send you a couple of my better ones to give you an idea of what I can do. I was mucking around with textures and bump maps on the weekend though, and I got this sweet looking frieghter going. Have to add some clutter to it though, after it's done I'll send it too. I'll go sort through my stuff, see what I should send. Also theres a great mechanisto tutorial someone did... I just can't remember who. Squibix of someone. Damn, it was a good one too, and he had some amazing ships that he did in mechanisto, but they blew my mind.

I'll talk more on the email.

Okay, I have that email to send ready, just grabbing your adresses... it's stuffed (.sit) so you should have no trouble downloading it. I got it from 300K a pic, down to 350k for the lot, then dowm to 78K with compression. Neat huh?
