    • Nova Tools Help Please?

(I know this has all been said before but I freakin searched and still can't get it)

      Ok.

      1. I downloaded ResEdit 2.1.3
      2. I opened my ResEdit Preferences file in ResEdit.
      3. I opened my novatools 1.0.0 file in ResEdit.
      4. I selected all in the novatools window.
      5. I Copied everything in my novatools window.
      (ready for it?)
6 I ATEMPTED to paste the copied files into the ResEdit Preferences window.

Ok Seems simple enough. My computer said 'there is not enough memory for a resource copy' and promptly crashed.

So I restarted. I opened ResEdit. I went through and repeated steps 1, 2, and 3.
In the preferences window, almost all of the files from nova tools had copied into it. It got down to the 'RSSC' file and stopped. In the Novatools file the count for RSSC was 26. In the ResEdit Preferences file, the count was 18, and there were 3 more files to go (alphabeticaly) that didn't get copied. So I deleted the RSSC from the Resedit Preferences file and tried again. This time just the RSSC File. It did the same thing. I've got all the stuff from nova tools copied EXCEPT the RSSC file. What have I done?? I have reinstalled Resedit several times now and it does the same thing. I am totally stuck.

    • Try allocating more memory to ResEdit.

It is better to feed the goat than it is today.

    • If you want to run Nova Tools with ResEdit, you will need at least 10 MB (10000k) and preferably 20MB (20000k) of RAM allocated to the program.
