Allright, I found wrym valley and yet I still can't seem to find the dark fairy or where the strange voice comes from. I am a level 20 ranger and yes I found the runic sword and elven plate.

You have to have the "Awareness" skill so that you can track down the fairy. Otherwise it will be able to hide from you, and you'll never find it. Try talking to Mary Kristina in Fantrima if you haven't already.

**Hi Frodo, and welcome to the boards. I agree totally with dampeoples about finding things on my own, but Garendall is a vast kingdom. I was scribbling down each screen map as I went to avoid getting lost and realized after 50 screens or so, that others might like a map too. The result is in my signature below. You don't need to know where the forest is, go to the Learning tree in the second level, type in the name of the forest, mark it down in your journal, and then go back to her.
