      hi

ok i have the plugin working but when i exit the game it goes to start screen and i hit quit but it won't exit..just freezes

i have win98SE and i've downloaded the trinity plug in and it doesn't show as a zip file so i drug it into the plugins folder but i still get no extra options when starting game...yes i have the registered version.

next question..when i move my guy i tend to get a real mild ripple across the screen..is this normal?

      i have a amd 1800+ cpu. 512mb of ram and a g-force2 64mb card.

Hi Falwick, Welcome to the boards. Do not put the whole Trinity Plugin Folder into the folder marked "Plugins", put only the "(X) Trinity Plugin" there which you will find inside the other.

I've never seen the mild ripple you mention so I can't help you there. Good luck with your game. ~RD

Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Spells Expander.

    • Hi Falwick
I think the Trinity Plugin is probably encoded as a .sit file instead of a .zip. To open it you'll need (url="http://"http://www.stuffit.com/expander/winindex.html")Stuffit Expander(/url). Dunno about the ripple or the music though, sorry ๐Ÿ™‚
Another thing, people may get annoyed if you post too many topics asking for help. In the bar of buttons above posts there is a button labeled "edit." We generally prefer that people use that if they have more similar questions.
Have fun with PoG and don't forget to check out Spells Expander as well ๐Ÿ™‚

I ran into this on a Mac... if there's anything you can do to make the OS run faster, do it. PoG used to positively churn on a 400MHz iMac, which should have been more than fine... it turns out it was conflicting with a ton of ambiguous extensions. Other than that, I can't help you... if you run into it enough, contact David Dunham at ASW Technical Support.

Bit of advice: cut the windows flaming. Yes, you can get banned if you do it too much.

As mentioned before, PoG is available for both Mac and Windows. The engine that created PoG, Coldstone, was specifically designed to be able to compile games to run on either platform.

Please refrain from attempting to turn this forum into a staging area for a platform war. If you wish to discuss the pros/cons of the Windows platform against the Mac platform I'd suggest trying in Just Tech. If you want a flamewar then you would be best to go to another set of web boards, as that is frowned upon here.
