Ok, im very new to editing EVN. So if you could help me it would be great. Im using nova tools, and i have a weapon all made. I made an outfit resource for it and evcerything. But i was wondering...where do i choose what picture i want it to look like when i go to "outfit ship" in game. What resource do i do that in?

The oütf PICT IDs are fixed based on the resource ID of the oütf. In NovaTools it's displayed just under the image box and to the left of the Fixed/Turreted checkboxes. Numerically, it's 6000 + the oütf index.

yes...but it doesnt let me change that number. And also, how do i attach a description to a weapon
Edit: Ooooo...i see. Ok, but now how do i change the index so i can make it a picture of an already amde weapon

You can't change the index; it is based on the resource ID. If you want the oütf to use an existing image, just copy the PICT and change the ID of the copy to coincide with your new oütf.

oütf dësc IDs are 3000 + the index.
There is a handy-dandy list of all the ID conventions included in NovaTools. When you have a NovaTools window open look in the 'NovaTools' menu under the 'Res ID Conventions' sub-menu.
