    • The PoG CD

I got the PoG CD today but there are 2 problems with it :frown:

1: It is damaged but I was able to make a Image with Toast (took some hours, got a warning when finished)

2: The purchsachse site contains this info about the cd:

The Pillars of Garendall CD contains the full version of Pillars of Garendall for both Macintosh and Windows, as well as special movies and other extras that are available only on this CD. The CD also includes unregistered versions of all of our products, scads of add-ons and more!

But on the CD is only PoG, Trinity Plugin and Coldstone Demo there are no special movies, no other extras and no unregistered version of all Ambrosia products

So i got nothing what i can´t download from the Ambrosia site, this really suxx! :frown:

ps: Why is the word "meta" censored? (I can´t register with MetalSnake as nickname because it contains "meta")

Your CD is most likely defective, ask for another one. ASW will probably give you a second CD for free.

As for **** being censored, I understand it was abused on the boards that allow HTML, so they had to filter it to avoid problems.

      Mr. Metal Snake,

As Cafalll stated just send an e-mail to Ambrosia software(help@ambrosiasw.com) and let them know the CD you received was damaged. They will most likely send you a new CD without charge.

When the CD's were originally pressed they were supposed to include the movies. However due to a goof up this did not happen. This problem has never, to my knowledge, been corrected. The only CD that contains the PoG movies is the full Coldstone CD that you receive when you purchase Coldstone.

The movies really aren't that great, btw, and in my opinion don't add a whole lot beyond showing off that Coldstone can integrate quicktime movies to games. I asked Ambrosia a while back if they would either make the movies available via download or if they would mind my uploading the movies to the downloads directory. I haven't heard anything back about this but I will ask again to see if we can get them available for viewing.

Most likely due to the HTML tag of the same name.

    • I thought méta was censored for the same reason that chîmp is.
