I was :). I think we can safely assume that the average biosphere startree - or even a modest orbital forest - takes longer than two centuries to grow, so...

You mean like the second Keats cybrid? I don't think that would have to be a very powerful character, but within the limitations of the Nova engine it might be a bit boring to play as since you get everything secondhand, rather than taking an active part in the story (except at the very end)... I don't know. Maybe I'm getting this wrong - if so, please clarify.
But I definitely agree that it would be cool to include some kind of "rogue TechnoCore cybrid" chΓ€r.

That wouldn't exactly guarantee interesting gameplay, since you'll be able to do just about anything without the slightest effort... IMO the Shrike should remain something of a wildcard in the game, something to fear - not something to be...
But perhaps you could be given some kind of biotech enhancements, like the liquid armor and faster reflexes Kassad gets when he goes with Moneta to the future... Finishing that particular mission could kind of turn you into the future opponent of Rhadamanth Nemes in the next part of the story, Ε la T800 vs. T1000 in Terminator 2...?
(Mental note of that filed away, for future use...)

Curwen
