Okay, Ive got a ship with a bunch of diffrent classes. Ive created seperate ship resources for each, and have named their resources exactly the same. I can link one ship to its relevant shan fine, but i cant seem to get the others to use it too, this also applies for target pics, shipyard pics, the works. Ive read the bible over and over but cant seem to figure this bit, any help?

Ship variants need their own shäns, but can link to the same rles. Therefore, if you have three ships, you need three shans, but only one set of sprites.

Just make three copies of the same shän and change their resource ID's to match that of your 3 ships. Same goes with the target picts and shipyard pics except that the ID's will be different. To find them out just open one of the resources in resedit and it should add a menu-bar pull-down called novatools, just go to RedID conventions and find what number you need to make the target picts and shipyard picts.

Partially incorrect. If the 3 shäns link to the same rlë8 and rlëD, then Nova will use the same target graphics and the same shipyard picts for all three, even though only one shän references them. Cool, eh?
