Why oh why did ATMOS use the spectrum backgrounds?
I can't figure out how to make them. I'm using photoshop, but I don't have the necesarry skills to make the "color fade to black" scheme for my ships.
Does anybody know how to make them?

Select black as foreground and the color you want as background. then select the gradiant tool and drag from the bottom left to top right (or vice versa, I don't have photoshop here to test it on). the gradiant tool is the one that looks dark at the bottom and light at the top, fading from one to the other. If this doesn't work, experiment a little bit, taking it a little less of the way across, that sort of thing.

Another alternative would be to strip the gradient from the existing shipyard images; no easy task for those that are unfamiliar with how to mask images, but trust me, it can be done. Now all I have to do is actually get my hiney in gear and release the plugin...
